Window Persist ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Chrome Extension and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services:

• Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture to create your account and verify your identity.
• Payment Information: We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your credit card details on our servers. Stripe allows us to verify your subscription status.
• Browsing Data: The "Window Persist" extension accesses your tab URLs only locally on your device to save your sessions. We do NOT collect, track, or sell your browsing history.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To manage your account and authentication.
• To verify your Premium license status.
• To enable Cloud Sync features (see below).

3. Cloud Sync & Google Drive™

If you upgrade to Premium and enable Cloud Sync, the extension interacts with your personal Google Drive™.

• Your Data Controls: Saved window sessions are stored directly in a private folder in your Google Drive.
• No Access: We (Window Persist developers) cannot see, read, or access the contents of your saved sessions in Google Drive. Communication happens directly between your browser and Google's servers.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures. Application communication is encrypted via HTTPS. Your personal data in our database (email, licenses) is secured in a managed PostgreSQL environment.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third parties:

• Google: For authentication and cloud storage.
• Stripe: For secure payment processing.
